COMMENTS
This shearling is solid, deep bodied and powerful and stands well. He is a
naturally fleshy ram. He is in the top 1% for Maternal Index, 8 week weight EBV
and Scan weight EBV, and the top 3% for Terminal Index and Muscle depth EBV.
His Sire, Essie Cassius, has consistently left great lambs in the flock for 3 years.
His sire has also left terrific lambs in USA and his semen is on its way to Canada
and Hungary. Since he was weaned, this shearling has been reared entirely on
grass and outwintered in the north of Scotland. Essie flock is Scrapie Monitored
and the shearlings have been tested clear of CLA for more than 15 years.
